Quicksilver

Sponsored by the Shriver Hall Concert Series

Shriver Hall Concert Series presents Baroque ensemble, Quicksilver.  Quicksilver, praised for “impeccable, soulful playing” (The New York Times), performs the program Violini a due: A European Journey. In the world premiere of a performance pre-recorded at New York's DiMenna Center for Classical Music, Quicksilver's journey explores sublime and dramatic works spanning the 17th century, from the birth of the virtuoso violin in northern Italy through its rich development in the courts of Germany, and including extraordinary sonatas by Castello, Rosenmüller, Legrenzi, and Fontana.

The performance will be followed by an Artist Q&A and be available by on-demand access through Sun, Feb 7 at 11:59pm EST. The exclusive streaming link will be emailed to all advance ticketholders on Sun, Jan 31 by 1pm EST. All ticket orders placed by 5pm EST will receive the streaming link in time for the concert premiere at 5:30pm EST. Purchases made after 5pm EST will receive the streaming link as soon as the order is processed by SHCS staff.
