Building the Perfect Cheeseboard

Have you ever wondered how to put together your own cheeseboard? In this virtual class, cheese enthusiast and creator of @cheezMD, Melissa, will teach you how to craft the perfect cheeseboard for your at-home happy hour. You'll learn what types of cheeses to include, how to serve them and how to plate them for a beautiful display.

Registrants will be sent a link to the Zoom webinar prior to the event. 

Shopping List:

  • 10-inch plate or board 2-3 small ramekins
  • Cheese:
    • 2-3 different ones; a mix of hard and soft, mix of milks (cow, goat, sheep).
  • Meats:
    • Thin cut salami, hard salami (that you can slice), prosciutto
  • Crackers:
    • Any two you like, mix of size and shape.
    • Some of my favorites are pretzel crisps, Carrs water crackers, La Panzanella.
    • If you don’t like crackers at all, sub out something like jicama or a crispy apple.
  • Condiments:
    • Jam, Honey, Dip, Mustard. Pick one.
  • Fruits:
    • Something fresh (berries or grapes)
    • Something dried (I like mango)
  • Nuts or something like wasabi peas, dried chickpeas, corn nuts
  • Savory:
    • Olives, mini pickles, roasted peppers
  • Something extra:
    • Chocolate, gummies, jellybeans. You be creative!
  • Garnish:
    • Rosemary, edible flowers, etc.
