Sponsored by Hopkins Chicago
Join fellow alumni, friends and family for an afternoon of bocce, networking, and lunch.
Having developed from games played in the Roman Empire, bocce is best known as an Italian bowling game. Each player or team takes turns rolling or tossing four balls, called bocce, toward a smaller ball, called the pallino. The object is to bring the ball to rest nearer the pallino than an opponent’s ball, to protect a well-placed ball, or to knock aside an opponent’s ball. Bocce is a fun-for-all, social game and players of all ages and skill levels are welcome at this family-friendly event.
While participating in off-campus events and meetings sponsored by the JHAA/JHM/JHHS participants must follow all public health guidelines mandated by the local jurisdiction and venue at the time of the event, including vaccination and masking and distancing guidance. Johns Hopkins strongly suggests that attendees who join in person be fully vaccinated. This is subject to change. JHAA Event Cancellation and Refund Policy
