Friday, June 17

8:30am EDT – Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Celebrate the HNC's newest alumni at our online presentation of diplomas and graduation certificates. Guest speakers include Mr. James Heller N'92 (Consul General, US Consulate General in Shanghai) and Dr. Huang Haifeng N'92 (Professor at Peking University HSBC Business School).

4:30-7:00pm – Welcome Happy Hour
Location: Nitze Courtyard & Kenney Auditorium | 1740 Massachusetts Ave. NW
Our celebration begins with cool drinks and ice cream to beat the DC heat! Come meet SAIS Dean James Steinberg and HNC Co-Director Adam Webb while mingling with current SAIS HNC students and faculty.

 

Saturday, June 18

All guests are required to check in at our registration table in the Nitze Building (1740 Massachusetts Ave. NW), where you will receive a name tag and welcome gift.


2:30-3:30pm – Student-Faculty Panel
Location: SAIS Bernstein-Offit Building, Room 500 | 1717 Massachusetts Ave. NW
Students and faculty will present on recent trek investigating the Chinese development in Peru and the value of experiential learning, in dialogue with alumni and audience members. 

4:00-7:00pm – 35th Anniversary Reception
Location: Kenny-Herter Auditorium, Nitze Building | 1740 Massachusetts Ave. NW
Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments while engaging with SAIS HNC community members. Includes remarks followed by Q&A with SAIS Dean James Steinberg, HNC Co-director Adam Webb, and virtual address by former UN-Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Hopkins President Ron Daniels.
