May 4, 2022 - May 25, 2022 (May 14, 2022, Field Study at Cylburn Arboretum, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:30 PM ET

Digital technology has dramatically altered how we take pictures.  This course will help you understand the fundamentals of photography and how they apply to the digital world.  The course includes classroom "hands-on" instruction, discussion, and field study.  We will cover topics such as shutter speeds, f stops or apertures, depth of field, white balance, histograms as well as how to properly compose an image for maximum impact.  Learn how to fully use the features of your camera to create higher-quality images that you will be proud to share with friends and family.

This course includes a field study at Cylburn Arboretum, located at 4915 Greenspring Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209. Transportation is not provided. More information can be found here.

Participants must provide their own camera equipment. For questions related to equipment, please contact Lewis Katz at olympus21209 at yahoo.com.
