Stay Home: Stories of Working, Studying, and Living from a Distance

Stay Home: Stories of Working, Studying, and Living from a Distance

Sponsored by Hopkins Connect

Some of us have been thrown into social distancing and self-quarantine and are REALLY starting to miss classmates, coworkers, offices, or private work space. We’ve gathered a panel of alumni who are pros at this already, and who are here to offer their hard-earned expertise. This panel will feature helpful resources, levity, and hope to students or alumni who feel stuck at home by exploring and explaining how folks can make the most of the technology they already have in their homes to stay connected, supplied, informed and safe during these uncertain times. Plus, stories of navigating virtual challenges, technical mishaps, close quarters faux pas, unexpected moments of zen, and more. Join Anika Penn (SAIS '10), Anthony Garay (Engineering '19), Bill Kirst (Arts & Sciences '00), and Veronica Lopez (Arts & Sciences '11) as they walk us through it.

Join us on Zoom here at 3pm today!
