On the Road with JHU: Taste of New England Cooking Demo
Sponsored by Hopkins Alumni
Join fellow alumni and friends for the last stop of our JHU road trip series as we visit the New England region! Stonewall Kitchen, a specialty food producer based out of York, ME will lead our group through a true New England summer feast - to be enjoyed from wherever you are! We'll begin with a classic New England seafood chowder (topped with bacon for those interested) before learning the secret to a perfect lobster roll (both hot and cold) paired with a summer succotash focused on that sweet summer corn with a medley of other veggies. And what better way to end your meal than with a blueberry crumble (vanilla ice cream strongly encouraged) for dessert!
All registrants, will receive a full shopping list as well as the recipes one-week prior to the class. In order to assure that we'll be able to cover the entire menu during the hour and a half class, registrants will be asked to do some prep work in advance (instructions for the prep will be found on the recipes).
Don't miss out on bringing a true New England feast to your dinner table!
