Course Description: Mental health is essential to overall well-being, yet it is influenced by a complex interplay of biology, lifestyle, emotions, and environment. This six-week course explores mental health through both modern science and Ayurvedic traditions. Participants will examine the neuroscience of stress, emotions, and habits; learn how mental health differs from mental illness; and explore factors that contribute to mental and physical imbalance. The course also reviews treatment approaches from Western and Eastern perspectives, including nutrition, mindfulness, breathing practices, yoga, and herbal supports. By the end, participants will develop practical strategies for cultivating resilience, balance, and lifelong mental wellness.
