Course Description: Are you tired of managing your life in silos—excelling at work while your personal life suffers, or feeling successful in one area while others fall apart? As leaders, we're expected to perform at high levels everywhere, but no one teaches us how to create a sustainable system that works across all areas of our lives.

This comprehensive leadership course guides you through building your personalized System of Success (SOS)—a strategic framework that integrates your work, wellbeing, home, and community into a cohesive, manageable whole. Using proven tools and frameworks, you'll create a sustainable operating system that supports your leadership effectiveness while honoring your values, energy, and life circumstances.

Tuition benefits are available to University faculty, staff, and retirees only. Withdrawals & Refunds:

If a course is canceled or closed, the registrant is notified immediately, and a full refund is processed automatically unless another course is requested. Registrants who wish to withdraw from an active course must complete the online Odyssey Refund Request Form. Attach any documentation to support your request (e.g., medical documentation, family crisis documentation, etc.).

100% refund: Prior to the start of the course and after the first class.
No refunds: After the first week of each course unless in exceptional cases.

For single-session courses:
100% refundable within two (2) business days of the event.

Please note, refunds apply only to the tuition portion of an Odyssey participant’s charges and are not applicable to any fees or gifts made to the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association. Registrants will be notified by email if a refund is approved within five (5) business days.

Nettie Owens, a JHU Class of 2001 graduate with a BA in Computer Science, has a proven track record of building impactful communities and programs. As the founder of the Momentum Community for Women, she has created a dynamic space where entrepreneurial and executive women can connect, collaborate, and thrive. Nettie is the creator of the Take Control System®, author of several books including What Businesses Need to Know Right Now (vol. 1 & 2), and has appeared on national television in TLC’s Hoarding: Buried Alive. A Certified Professional Organizer specializing in chronic disorganization, an ICF-trained ADHD & Leadership Coach, and a Heroic Performance Coach, she blends two decades of expertise with her passion for empowering women to achieve sustainable momentum in their businesses and lives.
