Sponsored by Johns Hopkins Lifelong LearningJoin fellow alumni and friends for an afternoon of theatre as we attend one of Shakespeare’s most compelling and emotionally charged tragedies, Othello, at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Under the direction of Simon Godwin, this riveting production brings fresh intensity and insight to the classic tale of love, betrayal, and manipulation.
Starring acclaimed actor Wendell Pierce (Elsbeth, The Wire) in the title role, the performance explores the profound consequences of jealousy and the destructive force of deceitful language. As Othello is drawn into a web of lies and psychological manipulation, audiences are taken on a gripping journey through themes of trust, power, and human vulnerability.
The seats are located in the Central Mezzanine Section. Tickets will be available for pickup at the box office before the show.
