Balanced Is a Myth (And Other Things Nobody Tells Ambitious Women)

Balanced Is a Myth Header Image

Co-sponsored by Women of Hopkins DMV, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Women in Public Health DC

Whether you're building the career, pivoting the career, or wondering why the career you fought so hard for still feels like a juggling act — this one's for you.

Join us for a happy hour with a twist: an honest, funny, and refreshingly judgment-free evening where ambitious women ditch the "having it all" performance and admit, out loud, what's actually working (and what very much is not). Using the Wheel of Life framework, facilitators Johanna Wolf, Psy.D., Anita Dam, and Liz Kamins will guide table conversations that go way past small talk — no lectures, no LinkedIn humble-brags, just wine, real solutions, and the sweet relief of saying "honestly? I'm kind of a mess at this moment."

Food and beverages will be provided. All alums and friends are welcome to participate!

A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.  If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu
