The film tells the powerful, often humorous story of an irreverent man who receives a terminal colon cancer diagnosis after avoiding routine preventive care. It follows his unexpected journey as he determines to maintain his humor while navigating mortality and "learning to die happily." The narrative serves as a compelling and relatable exploration of preventive medicine, personal responsibility, and the human condition. The film screening will be immediately followed by an Q&A discussion and networking reception.This is a high-value opportunity for all alumni to connect with fellow alumni, students, and friends. The event is free to attend and open to the entire Johns Hopkins community.
