Atlanta, GA: Brunch at South City Kitchen Midtown

Join alumni and friends are we gather for brunch at South City Kitchen Midtown. South City Kitchen Midtown serves Southern classics with a sophisticated spin from an iconic bungalow in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Since opening more than two decades ago and changing the landscape of Southern cuisine and the Atlanta restaurant scene, they've been serving signature dishes like fried chicken and shrimp & grits alongside innovative, inspired regional cuisine.

The menu is:

APPETIZERS 

• Fried Green Tomatoes goat cheese, sweet pepper coulis, chiffonade of basil 
• Pimento Cheese (m-gf) House pickles, celery hearts, corn crackers 

ENTRÉE (Each guest will choose one)

• The King Biscuit fried eggs, melted local gouda, city ham on an XL drop biscuit, with scallion-sausage gravy 
• Shrimp and Marsh Hen Mill Grits (gf) our tasso ham, smoked tomato-poblano gravy 
• Caesar Salad with Fried Shrimp (m-gf) garlic grit croutons, fried okra, Parmesan cheese and garlic dressing 
• Springer Mountain Farms Fried Chicken (m-gf) yukon gold potatoes, collard greens, honey-thyme jus 
• SCK Breakfast (gf) Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, marsh hen mill grits, pecan wood bacon 
• Vegetarian entrée option: Local Vegetables (gf) carolina gold rice cake, molasses green curry

Each registration will also include two mimosas. 

Please note that there are stairs to get to the seating area

A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.  If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu.
