Baltimore, MD: Vinyasa and Vino at Whitehall Mill Header Image

Sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association

Join alumni and friends for yoga at Whitehall Mill in the Penguin Room followed by light bites and a drink at True Chesapeake. Our yoga instructor is Marissa Walch, certified fitness professional and fitness enthusiast based on the east coast. She has worked in the fitness industry for more than a decade, and she loves to share her knowledge and passion for living a healthier life with her clients. Marissa was the recipient of the Best of Baltimore, Fitness Trainer award for the Baltimore Sun and was runner-up for the Best of Baltimore, Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer award for Baltimore Magazine.

Mats will be provided. Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. This class moves from pose to pose with each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a fully balanced class followed by a glass of vino.

A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.  If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu
