Crisis Cocktail Hour: Overcoming the Challenges Facing Film & Media

Crisis Cocktails Event Image Photo

Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations, Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund, and the Johns Hopkins Program in Film & Media Studies

As entertainment, news, and all forms of media undergo seismic changes, what are the consequences for those who work in media and those who consume it? From adapting to AI to finding new and creative streams of funding, our panel will discuss the ground-level changes they've seen in their own industries and how to navigate them. Join Hopkins alumni and students, mentors and fellows from the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund, and our special guests from Hopkins, Linda DeLibero and Annette Porter for an evening of conversation, networking, and drinks.

The evening will begin with a dynamic moderated discussion and Q&A with Krieger School of Arts and Sciences alum working in the industry. Don't miss this opportunity for empowering storytelling and meaningful connections in the heart of the city.

Special thanks to Neal R. Pilzer, A&S '78 for hosting this event.

A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events. If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu
