ABOUT Robert Simon
Private Equity Associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice

Robert Simon, A&S ‘21 is currently an Associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, where he focuses on investments in the Industrials sector. Prior to joining CD&R, he was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Global Industrials Group, focused on advising large cap. industrial companies on a range of assignments across M&A, financing and activism. 

Robert is the Co-President of the Johns Hopkins Finance Mentor Network and currently sits on the Board of Advisors for Johns Hopkins’ Blue Jays Unlimited, the University’s athletic endowment. 

While at Johns Hopkins, he was a member of the varsity tennis team, a Research Chief for Prof. Steve H. Hanke, a Course Assistant for Prof. Annette Leps and the President of the Marshal L. Salant Student Investment Team. He received his B.A. from Johns Hopkins in Economics, with a minor in Business.
