Johns Hopkins University AMR and Homewood Museum- A Neighborly Relationship Since 1923

Homewood Museum Architecture Lecture Header Image

Since its construction in 1923, Alumni Memorial Residence Hall I (AMR I) has been Homewood Museumʼs closest neighbor. With construction underway on a new AMR I, Homewood Museumʼs 26th Architecture Lecture will focus on the links between AMR I and Homewood. Vince Greene, co-principal of Myers Greene Architects and a member of the Hopkins Museums Advisory Board, will moderate a panel featuring Emily Licht of Johns Hopkins Facilities & Real Estate, Michael Spory of VMDO, and Peng Gu of Mahan Rykiel Associates for a discussion of campus architecture, planning, and landscape design. Q&A and reception to follow.

This program is made possible, in part, by our sponsors Vernon & Lucy Wright, Nancy & Henry Hopkins, Myers Greene Architects, and C&H Restoration and Renovation.

If you would like to become a sponsor and support the architectural preservation of Homewood House, please contact Dominique Zeltzman at 410-746-8634 or dzeltzman@JHU.edu. Thank you!
