Join Johns Hopkins University Museums Director Lori Finkelstein, PhD, and Curator of Collections Michelle Fitzgerald for an interactive, show-and-tell salon featuring six historic objects from the collections of Homewood Museum and Evergreen Museum & Library.

From an original print by 18th-century artist William Russell Birch to a Haviland & Co. Limoges tureen possibly used by Ulysses S. Grant, the objects contain fascinating histories and layers of meaning. In addition to sharing more about the objects, Lori and Michelle will discuss how the museums' dynamic collections engage students and the wider JHU community.

Refreshments will be served.
