We are excited to host the 2026 Johns Hopkins Department of Surgery Old Hands Reunion Program! This year, we have several events planned to gather and celebrate our surgical legacy together. We hope you can join us for all or part of this reunion.
Join us as at Orioles Park at Camden Yards as the O’s take on the Tampa Bay Rays at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $51 per person and includes food and non-alcoholic drinks with your game ticket. (This is in conjunction with our Department of Surgery Research Day program, so you will get to meet several of our current residents in the department!)
Our main Old Hands event – the Old Hands Dinner – will be held at The Belvedere Hotel again this year with cocktails starting at 6 pm and dinner at 7 pm. The cost of the Old Hands Dinner is $250 per guest. Your contribution will not only assist in covering the expenses for the event but will also go towards supporting the incoming Old Hands members and their guests as we welcome them to this wonderful alumni community.
Our Old Hands Scientific Sessions will be held at The Johns Hopkins Hospital this year and features Dr. Duke Cameron as the I. Ridgeway Trimble lecturer. Attendance to our scientific program is free and breakfast and lunch will be provided. More details about the agenda will be available closer to the event date.
As you are aware, it is a tradition at Johns Hopkins to have portraits painted of those great physician-leaders who have made a significant impact on our institution, and we are pleased to share that a portrait has been commissioned to honor Dr. Pamela Lipsett’s legacy at Johns Hopkins. Join us in honoring Pam by making a gift to the Pamela A. Lipsett, M.D. Portrait Fund or including it in your Old Hands registration form and payment.
