Course Description: As we pursue our adult lives and careers (the part of our adult life that takes place at work), we are not particularly encouraged as a matter of our education or experience to take intentional control over our own growth process. We can become "stuck." This Master Class will help you get "unstuck" by guiding you through the process of examining your current situation, your value, your intended value, and to plot a course to get where you want to be - to be the best you can be. We call this, "Accelerating Your Wisdom."

Johns Hopkins Tuition Remission Policies

Johns Hopkins alumni, staff, faculty and their spouse or domestic partners are eligible for tuition remission for Odyssey lifelong learning courses. Select the correct ticket pricing during registration. If we cannot confirm your eligibility, you will be requested to pay the full registration price for the course. Eligibility details can be found here.

Withdrawals & Refunds:

If a course is canceled or closed, the registrant is notified immediately, and a full refund is processed automatically unless another course is requested. Registrants who wish to withdraw from an active course must complete the online Odyssey Refund Request Form. Attach any documentation to support your request (e.g., medical documentation, family crisis documentation, etc.).

100% refund- Prior to the start of the course.

50% refund- During the first week of the course.

No refunds will be given after the first week of each course unless in exceptional cases.

Please note, refunds apply only to the tuition portion of an Odyssey participant’s charges and are not applicable to any fees or gifts made to the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association. Registrants will be notified by email if a refund is approved within (5) business days.

ABOUT Dr. Larry Hiner

I encourage people who feel stuck to examine their purpose in life and apply that same purpose to their career direction. I strive to accomplish this by listening and truly understanding each and every one of my client's wants and needs with empathy.

Having been through the process myself, by making the transition from a corporate career to forming my own businesses, I am able to understand my client's fears about making the career jump and coaching them through this change.

Jeff Saperstein is an author, teacher, consultant, career coach, and enabler in how technology can be used to create growth in regional economic development, success for organizations, and career and post-career planning. He has worked with governments, corporations, NGOs, and high-level business executives.

Jeff has co-authored nine books and five business case studies focused on best practices for innovation.
