Sponsored by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Office of Alumni Relations

Join experts, John Demming, MPM, CPP, CHPA, and Paul Sarnese, MSE, MAS, CHPA, CAPM, as they discuss the critical issue of healthcare provider safety by exploring a comprehensive suite of technological solutions. The goal is to empower medical professionals with the tools they need to work with peace of mind. During the program, we'll explore how technology can empower healthcare providers to work safely. We'll discuss a range of solutions including security screenings at entrances, access control with facial recognition, license plate readers for perimeter security, discreet panic buttons for staff, and a patient flagging system to document past misconduct. By implementing these tools, healthcare facilities can create a safer environment for staff, improve patient care, streamline operations, and potentially reduce liability. We'll delve deeper into these technologies, addressing privacy concerns and ethical considerations, and showcase real-world examples to equip you with the knowledge to build a comprehensive safety strategy.

This program will be presented on Zoom. A link will be shared in advance of the program.
