Please join us for the annual Johns Hopkins SAIS Foresight and Regional Strategies Series taking place in Singapore on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
Established in 2017, the series provides an annual forum for leaders in academia, industry, and not-for-profits to discuss pressing international affairs and global policy issues. This year's event also marks the 150th Anniversary of Johns Hopkins University and the 40th Anniversary of the Hopkins-Nanjing Center.
The topic of this year's event is Globalization Reimagined: Cooperation, Competition, and the Road Ahead. Speakers include:
- The Honorable Ted Osius (SAIS'89), Former United States Ambassador to Vietnam; Senior Vice President & Regional Managing Director of the US-ASEAN Business Council
- Keshia M. Pollack Porter, Dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
- Jim Steinberg, Dean, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies
- Jessica Chen Weiss, David M. Lampton Professor of China Studies, Inaugural Faculty Director of the Institute for America, China, and the Future of Global Affairs (ACF), Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies
- Jeremy Lim (BSPH '03), CEO, AMILI, Associate Professor, National University of Singapore and Monash University Malaysia
The program will begin at 1:00 pm and will include keynote remarks, panel discussions (to be announced), as well as a cocktail reception. The full schedule and speakers will be shared soon.
Alumni, leadership, faculty, students and guests will have the opportunity to network and socialize with members of the Johns Hopkins community throughout the day.
This event is presented by the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
