The Whiting School of Engineering Career Night and Harriet Shriver Rogers Lecture—two longstanding Whiting traditions come together for one evening of inspiration, connection, and community.

Join alumni, students, faculty, and industry leaders as we honor the legacy of Harriet Shriver Rogers, hear compelling perspectives, exchange ideas, and celebrate the start of a new academic year with the Whiting community.

Keynote Speaker:

Grace Lo Headshot

Grace Lo, Engr ’93 (MSE) ’97 (PhD)

Grace Lo is the chief risk officer and a managing partner of Campbell & Company, a Baltimore-based quantitative investment management firm with over $6B in assets under management. She co-chairs the investment committee and leads the risk and portfolio team in research, overseeing the development of the firm’s portfolio and risk management models and processes. Additionally, she regularly shares her expertise with investors and engages with the broader industry as a conference speaker and panelist.

Beyond her role at Campbell & Company, Lo chairs the advisory board for the Whiting School’s Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics and is a long-standing mentor to students at Morgan State University. She is also a member of Baltimore’s Women in Investment Leadership group, a professional network dedicated to supporting women in finance.

Before joining Campbell & Company, Lo served as a project manager for ICF Consulting, where she advised U.S. and international clients on energy prices and market dynamics, using large-scale optimization techniques to simulate complex fuel and power generation networks.

Lo received a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Brown University and master’s and doctorate degrees in mathematical sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
