San Diego, CA Region August 22, August 22, FridaySan Diego The Old Globe The Comedy of Errors Shakespeare Sponsored by Hopkins San DiegoJoin your fellow alumni and friends for merriment and mayhem come to life in Shakespeare's uproarious The Comedy of Errors, last produced at The Old Globe in 2015. Immediately after arriving in a new town, a young man and his sidekick are mistaken for their own long-lost twins, and everyone's lives are turned upside down as mistaken identities, confused lovers, and all kinds of shenanigans ensue. Globe Resident Artist James Vásquez makes his triumphant return to the Summer Shakespeare Festival after directing 2023's knockout comic hit The Merry Wives of Windsor. Seats for the evening will be on the right-hand side of the house in rows E-H. Registration is limited to 1 additional guest per person.  A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.  If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu.       While participating in off-campus events and meetings sponsored by the JHAA/JHM/JHHS participants must follow all public health guidelines mandated by the local jurisdiction and venue at the time of the event.
