Wednesday, 6:30PM - 8:30PM ET

We will analyze the threats eroding the world order by contrasting John Ikenberry’s defense of the liberal world order with John Rawls’ analysis of a diverse world society of peoples and nations. Grounded on this analysis and the world new phase of multipolar competition, we will examine the US-China bilateral rivalry that is impacting the future shape of the world order. Measures to mitigate US-China tensions are necessary to achieve regional stability in Asia Pacific and restore a balance based on engagement and cooperation.
