San Jose: Pottery Making Class
Sponsored by Hopkins San Francisco/Bay Area
Join Hopkins alumni and friends for fun afternoon of pottery making at Higher Fire. In this private class, we will get a taste of both the potter’s wheel and hand-building with slabs and textures. On the wheel, each participant makes a bowl with lots of hands-on support. In the hand-building area, everyone gets to explore stamps, texture mats, and rolling tools to make a unique mug made from slabs of clay. Light refreshments will also be available.
The pieces will be finished and ready for pick up at a later date.
A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events. If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu.
