Sunday Morning Cinnamon Rolls
Sponsored by Hopkins Alumni
Join fellow alumni and friends for a Sunday morning treat to help any brunch spread! Chef Halee Raff is the current chef/owner of Hardbittenn in Chicago, IL, specializing in desserts, weekly dinners and catering. Chef Halee will lead our group through a fun and educational class, sharing her own personal secrets to the perfect cinnamon roll! You'll learn how to make a yummy cinnamon roll from dough creation to oven, including making icing from scratch while the dough proofs. After this, you'll never have to settle for store-bought rolls again!
Chef Halee graduated from Johnson and Wales in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business, Food Service Management. After receiving her degree, Halee returned home to Chicago in high demand; lending her talents to well known Chicago hot spots like Tru, Sixteen and Naha/Brindille (all Michelin stars). She soon worked her way up to Chef de Partie and thereafter won the coveted position of Sous Chef at Band of Bohemia and then Momotaro (Boka Group). Her last position was an Executive in the 4c Group before starting her own company amid the pandemic, Hardbittenn. At Hardbittenn, Halee offers customizable in-home dining experiences, cooking & baking classes, and offerings such custom cakes and full lines of baked goods and pop tarts! You can see some of her creative work on Hardbittenn's Instagram!
Fellow alum, Carleigh Connelly, KSAS '08, of Virtual Dining Chicago, will be producing the event! This class will have a limited number of spaces available, so please make sure to register early to secure your spot!
