The Hollow Crown: Professor Eliot A. Cohen in Conversation (recording of live event)

Political scientist Eliot A. Cohen discusses what Shakespeare’s plays can teach us about modern-day politics as explored in his new book.

The Sheridan Libraries with the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University hosts a special event for The Hollow Crown: Shakespeare on How Leaders Rise, Rule, and Fall, the latest book by SAIS professor and former State Department official Eliot A. Cohen.

This event serves as the 2023 Paula U. Hamburger Endowed Lecture, which was established in 2003 to honor the late Paula Hamburger's devotion to Johns Hopkins University's libraries by her son, John Greenspan, and granddaughter, Katie Applefeld.

This event is being recorded for our global alumni community. Please use this registration form to receive notification when our on-demand video is posted.
