We take our hands for granted. What happens when they no longer provide us with the same dexterity, and even cause daily pain? Orthopaedic surgeon Dawn LaPorte, M.D., reviews causes of numerous conditions such as arthritis, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis, and treatment options including surgical and nonsurgical procedures to relieve pain and regain maximum use of our hands.
