Boston Dean's Virtual Networking Event featuring Sharon Gerecht

Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering

Dean Schlesinger invites alumni and students from the Massachusetts area to hear an update on the Whiting School and network with the Engineering Community.  He will be joined by featured faculty guest speaker, Sharon Gerecht. Dr. Gerecht, the Edward J. Schaefer Professor in Engineering of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Director of the Institute for NanoBio Technology, is a leading researcher in vascular and stem cell biology and engineering. She will share a talk titled "Regeneration, cancer and aging – from a bioengineering perspective", which will showcase how the Whiting School has positioned itself as a leader in Engineering the Future of Healthcare.

This event is part of a larger series of annual Dean’s networking events designed to help the Whiting School of Engineering build a stronger alumni network and establish a new sense of tradition in the areas where we have the largest alumni populations. Due to the virtual nature of this event, we are pleased to open it up to members of the Engineering community throughout the Massachusetts area.
