Remembering Gary P. Lees, MS, FAMI (1943-2024)

We invite you to join us on Friday, April 11th, 2025 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the Welch Medical Library, West Reading Room, as we honor the life of Gary P. Lees and his legacy on the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The program will feature a presentation of remembrances from Gary's 34 years directing the Department, 1983-2017. The event will be recorded and shared on the department's website.

Donations
Gary Lees was dedicated to the faculty, students and alumni of the department. While director, he established the Development Project for Alumni Fund for the advancement of the education of medical illustrators in the department. Donations to this fund are encouraged in Gary's memory and can be made while registering.
