Research has shown that clinical use of psilocybin can be a beneficial tool for mental health professionals in treating a variety of mental health conditions such as treatment resistant depression, end of life distress, as well as substance use disorders. Join Johns Hopkins psychiatrist Mary "Bit" Yaden as she provides an update on the use of psilocybin in research and clinical settings.
Dr. Mary Elizabeth Yaden, MD, is a psychiatrist based in Baltimore, Maryland. She is affiliated with Johns Hopkins and serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Yaden completed her medical education at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in 2018 and her residency in Psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2022.
She specializes in psychiatry and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Yaden practices at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
