Join Dean Elisabeth Long for a special evening in New York City! Learn about the past, present, and future of the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries and toast the 60th anniversary of its flagship location, Milton S. Eisenhower Library.
Hopkins alumni, families, and friends are invited to a reception and program with Elisabeth Long, dean of the Sheridan Libraries and University Museums, where you will hear her strategic vision for the Sheridan Libraries, including exciting new opportunities offered by open science, digital scholarship, and artificial intelligence. Learn the fascinating history of the George Peabody Library and the university's earliest library collections from rare books curator Earle Havens and get an advanced look from Dean Long of plans for a renovated and reimagined Eisenhower Library for 21st-century research, teaching, and learning.
