ABOUT Clarence Wooten

Clarence Wooten is a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur, futurist, and tech strategist who’s spent his career turning bold ideas into market-shaping companies. He’s the only African-American founder to have built and scaled two Internet startups to successful acquisitions by publicly traded companies—ImageCafe to Network Solutions (NASDAQ: NSOL) and Progressly to Box (NYSE: BOX).

Today, Clarence is a Sr. Executive & Entrepreneur in Residence at Google [X], Alphabet’s famed moonshot factory, where he works on groundbreaking projects at the intersection of AI and productivity. He’s also the founder of CoFounder.AI—both a book and an AI-powered platform designed to help entrepreneurs launch and grow startups 10x faster with 10x fewer resources.

Passionate about leveling the playing field for underfunded founders, Clarence wrote CoFounder.AI as the ultimate guide to building and bootstrapping high-growth startups in the AI era. His mission: to give every entrepreneur—no matter their background—the tools to think bigger, move faster, and succeed without waiting for permission.
