Climate change is reshaping the landscape of public health - driving extreme heat, amplifying health inequities, and challenging systems of care. Join us for an engaging discussion with three alumni from the Master of Public Health program at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, now working at the forefront of climate and health.

Hear keynote reflections from:

  • Swathi Manchikanti, Climate Adaptation and Health Expert at UNICEF, working to protect children’s health in the face of climate challenges
  • Agostinho Sousa, Head of Extreme Events and Health Protection, UK Health Security Agency, leading extreme event preparedness and response
  • Shona Kamps, Consultant at the WHO–WMO Joint Office for Climate and Health, advancing digital health solutions for climate resilience

Together, they will explore how public health professionals are addressing the health impacts of a changing climate, current drivers shaping the field, and the challenges of working at this intersection. The event will include keynote talks and an open discussion.

This event will be virtual.
