Annual Gingerbread House Contest 2024
Sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association
Calling all Little Jays! Please join fellow alumni and their families as we compete in a family friendly Gingerbread House Contest! The contest will run through January 3rd, at which point members of the Johns Hopkins Alumni Council and the Office of Alumni Relations will vote on your creations!
There will be three winners based on the categories below:
- The Classic Cookie - The tried and true gingerbread house at heart.
- The Creative Cookie - The most abstract and creative take on the gingerbread house.
- The Crumbled Cookie - The under construction, best try gingerbread house.
All participants must post a photo of their creation using #JHUGingerbread and tagging @JHU_Alumni on either Facebook or Instagram. If your social media profiles are private, or if you would prefer, please email us your picture to alumevents@jhu.edu. Winners will receive a JHU swag box from the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association. All submissions for voting are due by Friday, January 3, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. ET
The Gingerbread Kits will be coming directly from Amazon to the address registrants enter upon registration. Due to shipping constraints, kits will be shipped only within the continental United States.
If ordering a kit through us, registration must happen before Wednesday, December 18th at noon ET.
A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events. If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu.
