Sponsored by Hopkins Hawai'iJoin fellow alumni and friends for a unique, hands-on cooking experience at the Oahu Country Club! Our evening will include individualized “En Papillote” meal preparation, a wine pairing, salad, your uniquely prepared main course, and dessert. Executive Chef Michael Longworth will guide you to create an iconic French dish that will be paired with the salad, dessert, and wine. All advance prep of the ingredients will be done by Chef and his staff.
The French phrase En Papillote translates to "in parchment" and refers to a cooking technique that involves steaming food in a folded pouch or parcel. The technique has been used by cultures around the world for a long time, but it's been popular in France since at least the 17th century.A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.
