Course Description: Ancient Greeks wrote first about how physical health and mental health are intertwined, seeking the ideal of a "sound mind and sound body." The accelerating rate of change and the increasing complexity of today’s world places stress on leaders that are unmatched in any historical flow of events, making it even more important for today’s leaders to be exceptional caretakers of both body and mind.
Eat to Lead addresses maintaining physical and mental energy through food, while addressing the cutting-edge principles of exceptional leadership.
After this program students will have explored the fundamentals of good leadership today and how it goes hand in hand with eating for optimal well-being. They will know, and have practice in, making food choices that help start the day strong, have long-lasting energy, make better decisions, stay focused, sustain good moods, get more sleep, avoid illness, and perform optimally.
