Lynn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. While attending college, she worked full-time, served on the Harford County Cultural Arts Board and the Human Relations Commission, organized community fundraisers, volunteered to teach, and counseled many individuals and non-profits on grant writing and management.
In 2011, her compassion for pets and people led her to establish the first-ever mobile food bank for pets in Maryland. Thankful Paws distributed over 91 tons of pet food through her leadership and dedication. In 2014, Lynn's efforts led her to receive an Accommodation from the Baltimore Humane Society and Maryland's Secretary of State. In 2016, she was presented with a Governor's Citation. She has been interviewed by CBS TV, NBC TV, FOX TV, and ABC TV and featured in The Beacon, the Baltimore Sun, Country Woman Magazine, The Jeffersonian, The Capital Gazette, and The Baltimore Magazine.
Lynn is an accomplished grant writer and manager. She has worked with The Archdiocese of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and numerous other charities. She has also served for many years as a Grant Reviewer for the United Way of the National Capital Area.
Currently, she is a private grant consultant as well as grant auditor for the Federal Government.
