Addressing Power and Privilege in Public Health Curriculum

Join the Alpha Chapter of the Delta Omega Honor Society for the inaugural event in the Legacy Lecture Series honoring Pien-Chen Huang, a former professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology who passed away August 3, 2020. 

Keilah Jacques, MSW, and Lorraine Dean, PhD, will hold a conversation on developing and implementing a service-learning class: Methods for Assessing Power, Privilege and Public Health in the US.  The conversation will explain and discuss the value of the service-learning approach, offer thoughts on how to implement it in the space of virtual learning, and share the multi-level impacts of the course.
