Rethink Facilitation to Prevent Burnout in 2021

Rethink Facilitation to Prevent Burnout in 2021

Sponsored by Women of Hopkins Affinity

Is meeting online ALL.THE.TIME. causing Burnout? Overwhelming?  It’s time to rethink how you lead and participate online!

Join us for a special interactive workshop, “Rethink Facilitation”, led by Monica Kang (SAIS 13’) of InnovatorsBox on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 5pm EST.

During the workshop you’ll learn how to transform online engagement into exciting, authentic, and results-driven experiences—without burnout or stage fright. Leading online is a skill we’re expected to do exceptionally well—but often without training. Being able to lead online—skillfully and with empathy—is critical to succeeding in the remote workplace.

Topics we’ll cover in the 60 minute session are:

● How to lead a client call vs a weekly team meeting
● How to build trust with colleagues you haven’t met in person
● How to pitch a new client or interview a prospective team member
● Combat Zoom fatigue, distraction & disengagement
● Manage time, energy levels & the temptation to multi-task
● Navigate verbal/non-verbal communication & difficult conversations
● Align preparation, execution & follow-up with your strengths
● Ask for, receive & incorporate feedback in a positive and productive way

Our first 25 registrants will also have access to an expanded version of the course and additional online tools and materials.
