Nicole Carr is an award-winning investigative journalist, essayist, professor, and speaker based in Atlanta. Her reporting on race, politics, education, and democracy has appeared in outlets including ProPublica and has earned national recognition from organizations such as the American Society of Journalists and Authors. A four-time regional Emmy Award winner, Carr currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Journalism at Morehouse College. Her debut book, The Price of Exclusion: The Pursuit of Healthcare in a Segregated Nation, examines the legacy of Black physicians and healthcare inequality in America.
