Hopkins New York - To Kill a Mockingbird

Hopkins New York - To Kill a Mockingbird

Based on the 1960 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Harper Lee and adapted for the stage by Aaron Sorkin. Inspired by Lee's own childhood in Alabama, To Kill a Mockingbird features one of literature's towering symbols of integrity and righteousness in Finch's character, based on Lee's own father. The character of Scout, based on Lee herself, has come to define youthful innocence and its inevitable loss. The show runs approximately two hours and thirty-five minutes with one intermission.

Before the performance, join us at The Playwright Celtic Pub, 732 8th Avenue, New York, NY for cocktails at 5:00 pm. Alumnus and Producer/C.E.O. of OHenry Productions, Oliver Roth '12, will be on hand to share his experiences and answer questions. His producing credits include the West End's The Inheritance, Broadway's Escape to Margaritaville, Off-Broadway's Hundred Days (NYTW), Invisible Thread (Second Stage), Derren Brown: Secret (Atlantic Theater Company), and Straight (Theatre Row), and the current U.S. Tour of Hundred Days
