Underage and Unaccompanied: Child Migrants in Greece

Underage and Unaccompanied: Child Migrants in Greece

Underage and Unaccompanied: Child Migrants in Greece

Greece has seen an increase in migrants and refugees over the past several years, and a significant portion of these migrants are unaccompanied children between 14-17. Without enough child protection and social support services to reach each individual, many young people are seeking opportunities in underground economies to support themselves. The COVID-19 pandemic has placed even more strain on an already vulnerable community.  Join Divya Mishra, PhD ’20 as she presents on her research into Greece's Forgotten Child Refugees.
