Whiting School of Engineering Presents: Spotlight Series Talk Featuring Serena Pruitt

Join us for the first talk in our Whiting School of Engineering Alumni Spotlight Series, where alumni in exciting and interesting careers will share their professional and personal journeys with the greater Engineering community.

Our first speaker will be Serena Pruitt '99. Serena Pruitt is Senior Counsel in the Marketing and Intellectual Property group at McDonald’s Corporation. In addition to counseling business teams for the company’s mobile app and CRM & loyalty strategies, she also negotiates sponsorship and agency agreements, advises on national food advertising campaigns, and provides legal guidance for emerging social media and digital marketing strategies. Prior to joining McDonald’s, Serena was Assistant General Counsel & Intellectual Property Counsel at Rewards Network, a provider of financial and marketing services to the restaurant industry and operator of the leading dining rewards program for major travel, hospitality and retail brands, including United Mileage Plus Dining and Fuel Rewards.

Ms. Pruitt received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, concentrating in Chemical Engineering, from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Syracuse University, and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
