Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds: International Nursing

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in partnership with the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma will offer a monthly Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Continuing Nursing Education Series, providing an educational program led by top researchers from around the world.

In this February Virtual Grand Round, Amanda Slagle, ’04, ’06 will join Dr. Nancy Reynolds, Dr. Nancy Glass, ’94, ’96 and Dr. Rebecca Wright from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing will describe the current status of the global nursing workforce. They will identify the opportunities and disadvantages with having a U.S. nursing license in other parts of the world. They will also propose ways to influence nursing education and regulation globally to strengthen the nursing profession.

The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds NCPD Series will offer attendee one NCPD credit upon completion of each session, with the goal of fulfilling the JHSON’s mission of providing lifelong learning for health care professionals within the community. 

The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds NCPD Series is sponsored by the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma, the Honor Society of Nursing. The Nu Beta Chapter was established at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 1992. In 2018, the Johns Hopkins Health System joined the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to become the first At-Large Chapter of Sigma.
