Phillips Mitchell '13

Phillips Mitchell is a television advertising leader at Google with a decade of experience in Tech. She graduated from JHU with a BA in English and was one Italian language class away from getting a minor in History of Art. Phillips advises traditional businesses on how to connect with customers in the evolving TV landscape that has been disrupted by internet connectivity. Phillips did extensive DEI work as a volunteer board member of the Black Googler Network. Outside of her day job, Phillips enjoys playing bass guitar, mentoring young low-income people as they navigate their first tech internships, and inspiring others to unionize their workplace.
