The Brady Urological Institute Research Symposium, Alumni Reunion, and Anniversary Celebration

The Brady Urological Institute Research Symposium, Alumni Reunion, and Anniversary Celebration

We have a truly remarkable milestone to celebrate within our community this year. On July 1, 2023, Dr. Patrick C. Walsh began his 50th year of service to the Brady and Johns Hopkins Medicine, thirty of which he served as Director of the Department of the Brady Urological Institute. This is an opportunity for our extended Brady family – near and far – to come together to celebrate the progress that we’ve made, to congratulate Dr. Patrick Walsh on an incredible 50 years of service, and to invest in our collective future.

We invite you to join us on June 6th and 7th, 2024 in Baltimore for the special events listed below. Please review the event descriptions and hotel information, log in to register, and contact us with any questions.

We look forward to seeing you!

Advancements in the urology field over time derive from disciplined research activity and translation of discoveries into clinical practice. The Brady Urological Institute of the Department of Urology has contributed to this transformative progress in the field. The leadership of the department has been most instrumental in this purpose, with particular acknowledgment of Dr Patrick Walsh, who served as the department director from 1974 through 2004. A research symposium is proposed in celebration of Dr Walsh’s leadership and 50 years of service to the department. This event is designed to be academic and educational, in accordance with the ideals of academic scholarship as espoused by Dr Walsh. It will comprise Brady urological alumni and faculty as speakers, all authorities in their respective subspecialty areas, who will present their latest scholarly work in the field of urology. Presentations will address assorted topic areas of urologic practice as well as professional development.
