POSTPONED - Columbia, PA: Turkey Hill Experience & Taste Lab

Calling all little Jays! Join fellow Hopkins alums and their families as we enjoy the Turkey Hill Experience. The Turkey Hill Experience features interactive exhibits allowing you to learn about dairy culture, the story of Turkey Hill Dairy, and how the company's ice cream and iced tea flavors are selected and created. You will truly experience what it's like to be a Turkey Hill Dairy ice cream maker for a day, including the opportunity to create your own virtual ice cream flavor. In addition, you can sit in the vintage milk truck, milk the mechanical cows, star in your very own Turkey Hill commercial, and enjoy plenty of unlimited samples of iced tea and ice cream! We will also have the opportunity to make our virtual creations come to life in the Taste Lab! You will start with a base ice cream and add in the flavoring of your choice. From there, you can add in a variety of delicious inclusions and mix in your favorite variegate. While we enjoy our ice cream creations, an instructor will share a brief "Ice Cream 101" class.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: The Taste Lab is NOT allergen free and contains tree and ground nuts.*

A portion of this registration fee will serve as a donation in support of future programming and events.  If you wish to not have a portion of your registration support such initiatives, you may contact the Office of Annual Giving: oag@jhu.edu.

While participating in off-campus events and meetings sponsored by the JHAA/JHM/JHHS participants must follow all public health guidelines mandated by the local jurisdiction and venue at the time of the event.
